Acrodata registers with eServices Victoria
As part of its push into the national market Acrodata recently registered with eServices Victoria. As of July 2013 eServices Victoria stands as the procurement process for providing ICT solutions to the Victorian Government, taking the place of the eServices Panel.
Designed to enhance market competition and increase innovation and productivity in the ICT sector, the new system allows organisations to register online as an ICT provider to Victorian Government, which they will remain so long as they meet the listed criteria. It is anticipated that the move will significantly simplify the procurement process.
From a provider’s perspective this change makes a whole lot of sense. It will make it much easier for government to engage with industry and vice versa. Having to provide evidence of financial viability, insurances and other business related history for each and every separate procurement discussion with government has been extremely inefficient, whereas now the boxes are already ticked!
Acrodata looks forward to doing plenty of business with the Victorian Government this year and in years to come.
