John Groom

After practicing law during the 1990s, John moved to Melbourne to broaden his experience within a large multi national organisation. He then moved to Sydney to further his management career and prior to relocating back to Hobart was in a general management role with a publicly listed records management provider.

John's experience includes designing and implementing document management strategies for some of Australia's largest organisations. He has assisted clients with bulk document scanning, litigation support, data rooms, and storage of records. John is the General Manager and a director of Acrodata.

 

 

Michael Hangan

Formally with a major Tasmanian financial institution, Michael has joined the ever-expanding team as Manager – Bureau Services.

Michael is qualified in records and information management and has had many years in all tiers of government implementing process reform around records and information management.

Michael’s role will be to oversee and manage the output from the bureau, as well as assist with consulting projects.

 

Tony Miller

Tony has previously worked interstate in document imaging bureaus providing document workflow solutions and currently focuses on web-based data management.

With a bachelor of computing with honours from the University of Tasmania, Tony brings a technical perspective to process design as an Information Management Consultant.

 

James Groom

After nearly a decade working at major law firms both in Australia and abroad and also a stint as Corporate Counsel at General Electric, James returned to Tasmania to provide specialist corporate advice to clients ranging from start-ups to established listed companies. 

James is a member of several private company boards and speaks regularly on corporate governance matters.  He has degrees in law and arts (first class honours in political science) from the University of Tasmania.  James is a director and also acts as our Commercial Manager.
