John Groom
John Groom, founder an
d manager of Acrodata, spent 10 years in Melbourne and Sydney honing his skills and experience in the records and information management industry, building an impressive resume while away.
John was exposed to industry best-practice in the 2 largest commercial centres in Australia, gaining experience in large scanning projects such as the conversion of all of Westpac’s mortgage documentation (tens of millions of pages) to digital format. As well as consulting to major Australian organisations on their approach to the broad document management challenge.
John as a hands on manager is highly involved in the day-to-day operations of Acrodata as well as being an active member of the Tasmanian ICT industry.
Leigh Keane

Leight Keane, Acrodata's Manager- Bureau Services has recently returned to Tasmania from Sydney, where he has worked in project and account management roles for some of Australia’s largest business solutions providers.
Leigh’s resume includes assisting top ASX listed companies and government agencies in streamlining their business processes. Efficient and highly experienced, Leigh is thoroughly enjoying furthering his career in his home state.

Paul Doolan
Paul has recently returned from London where he co-built and sold e-discovery business Pinpoint Global, Ltd. to Epiq Systems, Inc. a leading provider of technology solutions to the legal profession.
Paul joins Acrodata as a key member of the information management consulting team, working with major clients to streamline and systemise outdated records and information practices.

James Groom
After nearly a decade working at major law firms both in Australia and abroad and also a stint as Corporate Counsel at General Electric, James returned to Tasmania to provide specialist corporate advice to clients ranging from start-ups to established listed companies.
James is a member of several private company boards and speaks regularly on corporate governance matters. He has degrees in law and arts (first class honours in political science) from the University of Tasmania. James is a director and also acts as our Commercial Manager.
